Hyundai Card Settles a Cross-Border Payment in Minutes Using a Stablecoin

  • Hyundai Card, South Korea's leading credit-card company, says it moved $20,000 between two Hyundai units in the US and Mexico in about seven minutes using Tether's stablecoin on the Avalanche blockchain, a task it says normally takes hours by bank wire.
