Nevada clears 8,000 robotaxis for Las Vegas, and Tesla says it will not fill its share

The Nevada Transportation Authority voted unanimously to let Tesla, Waymo and Uber run a combined 8,000 driverless vehicles in Clark County over the next 12 months.
It is the largest single robotaxi authorization granted in the United States, and Tesla's own engineer told regulators the company expects to deploy about half its allowance.
