Kraken Wins a $22 Million Arbitration Award Against Its Former Auditor Mazars

  • Payward, the parent of crypto exchange Kraken, says it has won a $22 million arbitration award against Mazars, the accounting firm that abruptly walked away from Kraken's audit in late 2023.
  • Kraken is now asking a Delaware court to make the award final, in a rare case of a crypto company holding an auditor to account for abandoning it.
