Amazon says Prime Air will expand from 11 delivery sites to nearly 500 US cities and towns by the end of 2026, a sixfold jump in footprint for a program Jeff Bezos promised would arrive by 2018.
The technology and the FAA approvals have finally caught up with the pitch; the economics are still the open question.
