OPEC+ Approves Another 188,000-Barrel Output Increase as Hormuz Exports Recover
- The core group of OPEC+ producers agreed on July 5 to lift oil output by 188,000 barrels a day from August, extending a gradual return of supply just as tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz recovers.
- Brent crude traded near $72, well below the peak above $120 reached during the shipping crisis.
