Oil Tumbles as the Iran Risk Premium Fades and Hormuz Shipping Resumes

  • Crude oil fell sharply this week, with Brent dropping back to around $72 a barrel — its lowest since late February and a weekly slide of more than 10% — as tankers returned to the Strait of Hormuz and the war-risk premium that had spiked prices after the Iran strikes drained away.
